Employers with over 100 workers must provide nurseries and day care center services within a 1-year term as of March 23, pursuant to Decree 144/2022, published in the Official Gazette. This requirement was already provided for in Section 179 of Labor Contract Law since 1975 but had never been regulated. Read more about it here.

#81: Costa Rica passed a law to protect persons who report acts of corruption and the witnesses of those who report, which applies to both the public and private sectors.
