Description

The agreement establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) entered into force on 30 May 2019 with the free trade area having commenced on 1 January 2021. This agreement has created the largest free trade area in the world with the intention to boost intraregional trade, manufacturing, and the free movement of labour. In this webinar we will analyze how each jurisdiction is preparing itself for the challenges posed by the AfCFTA and how each country will implement the free movement of people as the immediate implication of the agreement in the labour market.
